Our epoxy flake system is a multi-layered flooring that consists of base coat, vinyl flake chips and sealed with a UV stable polyaspartic topcoat. This floor system is water and weatherproof and UV stable. It can resists common pool chemicals as well as stains. It is easy to clean and maintain. It has an orange peel like finish, to provide a slight anti-slip. For increase slip resistance a silica sand can be added to the floor.
Our epoxy quartz flooring consists of base coat, double broadcast of uniformly shaped quartz granules and sealed with a UV stable polyaspartic topcoat. Epoxy quartz is extemely durable and hard-wearing and offer the same benefits as epoxy flake. It comes in a range of decorative blends to match with any exterior.
Both decorative quartz and decorative chip floors are excellent options for pool decks. With quartz granules being rounder and harder to break, epoxy quartz offers better anti-slip and comprehensive strength.
The pool deck resurfacing process begins with performing any repairs that are needed. Any cracks, chipping, or divots in the deck must be repaired before the resurfacing. Next, we’ll grind down the deck with our mechanical grinder to ensure that the epoxy coating adheres. We will then apply the selected system. After the final coat is applied, you will need to give the floor 24 hours before light foot traffic, and 72 hours before heavy items can be placed.
